Answer: Uttara Model College, December 11, 2018: The final match of ‘Inter College Football Competition’ was held on the 05th December 2014 in the playground of Uttara Model College. Uttara Model College and Commerce College played the final match. Uttara Model College won the competition defeating Commerce College by a score of 3:1. It was an exciting game. The Principals of both colleges enjoyed the final match together and awarded medals among the winners. Both of them put emphasis on the co-curricular activities for the students to make them physically and mentally fit. The tournament began on 3rd December 2014. Eight colleges took part in the competition. They were divided into two groups. Every team faced the other three teams in the group. Two top teams from each group moved to the next round. Champion of Group-1 played Runner-up of Group-2 and Champion of Group-2 played Runner-up of Group-1 in the semi-finals. Uttara Model College was the champion of Group-1 and defeated Tejgaon College in the semi-final match by 2-0. Commerce College was the Group-2 champion and outplayed Dhaka College by 3-1. Uttara Model College became the champion without losing a single match. The three-day-long competition gave a festive look to the college campus.
