Traffic Jam/Traffic Congestion
Answer: Traffic jam is a common affair in big cities and towns. This problem is the result of the rapid growth of population and the increasing number of vehicles. Most often this problem occurs in congested areas where the roads are very narrow. In proportion to our population roads have not increased. There are many unlicensed vehicles that should be brought under control. The drivers are not willing to obey the traffic rules. The overtaking tendency also causes traffic jams. The number of traffic police is insufficient. Most often traffic jam occurs at office time and also at the time when the offices break. It kills our valuable time and our work is hampered. It causes great suffering to the ambulance carrying dying patients and the fire brigade vehicles.
However, this problem can be solved by adopting some measures. Well-planned spacious roads should be constructed. One way movement of vehicles should be introduced. Traffic rules should be imposed strictly so that the drivers are bound to obey them. Sufficient traffic police should be posted on important points. Unlicensed vehicles should be removed. After doing all these things we can hope to have a good traffic system for our easy and comfortable movement.
Traffic Jam
A traffic jam is a situation in which vehicles cannot move freely and traffic comes to a standstill. It occurs in almost all the district towns where a lot of vehicles play every day. Especially it occurs near bus stand, railway crossing, and turn of a road, at the junction of various roads or near a market. It occurs mainly in the morning and afternoon on working days when the everyday body tries to attend office in a short time or returns home as early as possible. The indiscriminate playing of vehicles like rickshaws, buses, scooters etc. and haphazard parking of vehicles and small shops in the footpaths are the main reason for traffic jams. Traffic jam causes untold suffering to people. Students cannot reach schools in time. It kills our time and lessons our working hours. It causes great suffering to the ambulance carrying dying patients and the fire brigade vehicles. The increasing traffic jams hamper our economy. So, well spacious roads should be constructed. One-way movement of vehicles should be introduced. The driver should be trained in order to cope with the other developed nations. After doing all these things we can hope to have a good traffic system for our easy and comfortable movement.
